I disagree with the fictional character Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise. He says "space, the final frontier". I believe change is the final frontier. Change is perpetual. The speed of change is ever accelerating. And making change happen requires both learning and a determinant discipline. We must learn to manage change. In the words of W. Edwards Deming, "learning is not compulsory; neither is survival" so, therefore, managing change is not compulsory but neither is survival.
